Intelligent shopping assistant
Starcart describes itself as an intelligent shopping assistant that connects users with relevant stores and products they want to shop for. With Starcart, users can easily purchase anything from anywhere, as promised:
‘Find, compare, shop, and pay for items all in one place’
Starcart is not just an ordinary marketplace, as the company states on its website. “That is why we search the internet to find the best prices, shipping rates and availability to make shopping easy. All you need to do is add to your Starcart and we will take care of the rest.” Starcart holds a payment platform license and partners with Visa. The company relies on bots for the deal finding, using AI for personalized recommendations.
On a mission to remove friction
“We are on a mission to remove the friction from buying the things you need”, Ilola wrote on LinkedIn. It seems that people appreciate what the company is doing, the CEO continues: “Our sales have grown fifteenfold in just nine months, and customer satisfaction is at 4.5 out of 5 stars.”
